Processing of personal data
All processing of personal data shall be in compliance with following principles:The processing of personal data shall take place in a lawful, fair and transparent way;The personal data shall be accurate and where necessary, kept up to date;Personal data shall be kept confidential and stored in a manner that ensures appropriate security;The collecting of personal data shall only be performed for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes; andThe collecting of personal data shall be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purpose for which they are processed.

Individual rights
According to the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the data subject has several rights with respect to the data concerning him/herself. All requests concerning GDPR data subject rights shall be made via email to i
nfo@geobear.com.

Each business unit and/or function shall assist in ensuring that the rights are respected in relation to the processing of personal data. The person responsible for data protection in Geobear shall be notified on every request based on GDPR and made by data subject. All customer interfacing personnel and HR personnel shall be trained to promptly forward any request related to the exercise of rights of the data subject to the person responsible for data protection in Geobear.

All customer interfacing personnel and HR personnel shall be trained to reply to data subject with the information that Geobear is working on the request and will respond as soon as reasonably possible. Any request based on GDPR data subject rights shall be handled as follows: Verify if Geobear is the controller of the data subject’s data. If Geobear is merely a data processor, the person handling the request shall inform the data subject and refer them to the actual controller.

Verify the identity of the person requesting the right of access. One piece of photographic ID and another significant identifying document used by data subject shall be an adequate verification of data subject’s identity. Other means of verification can be used if they are appropriate. Verify the nature of request. Deny the right of access if the request is unfounded, excessive or repetitive. Inform the data subject about receipt of the request.

Inform the data subject, if Geobear does not process the data requested.If the data requested involves data on other data subjects, either filter the data or, if not possible, ensure that other data subjects have consented to the supply of their data.Respond to the request without delay or within one month. If the request is complex, an extension of two months is permissible. If the request is complex, inform the data subject about the extension within one month.

If Geobear does not act on the request of the data subject, inform the data subject without delay or within one month.
Include the following information to the response, if Geobear processes personal data on the data subject:
- the purposes of the processing;
- the categories of personal data concerned;
- the recipients or categories of recipients to whom personal data has been or will be disclosed, in particular in third countries or international organisations, including any appropriate safeguards for transfer of data, such as Binding Corporate Rules or EC model clauses; where possible, the envisaged period for which personal data will be stored, or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period;
- the existence of the right to request rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing of personal data concerning the data subject or to object to such processing;
- the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;if the data has not been collected from the data subject: the source of such data;
- or the existence of any automated decision-making, including profiling and any meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing for the data subject.

Right of access
Each data subject may request access to personal data concerning him/herself.

Right of rectification
The data subject shall have the right to obtain the rectification or inaccurate personal data concerning him or her. This rectification shall be conducted without undue delay.

Right to data portability
The data subject shall have the right to receive the personal data concerning him or her, which he or she has provided to a controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided, where:(a)  the processing is based on consent pursuant to point (a) of Article 6(1) or point (a) of Article 9(2) or on a contract pursuant to point (b) of Article 6(1) of GDPR; and(b)  the processing is carried out by automated means.

Right to erasure
The data subject shall have the right to have the controller erase any personal data concerning him or her without undue delay and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay. Geobear does not have the obligation to erase any personal data that is necessary for a legitimate purpose.

Right to restriction of processing
The data subject shall have the right to restrict processing of his/her personal data in accordance with the applicable law.

Right to object
The data subject has the right to object to processing of personal data related to him or her at any time. Geobear shall no longer process the personal data unless the controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Automated decision-making impacting the rights and obligations of an individual, including profiling. The data subject has the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning him or her or similarly significantly affects him or her.
